Knot About Boring Tanks, Okaaay?

As you've probably noticed, one of my signature style  tactics is to knot a boring or shapeless tee to create the look of a waistline, since no matter how hard I try, I can't quite create one in person. So, optical illusion IT IS! The knot helps accent embroidered details on these shorts and creates a more stylish, less camp counselor look for this summer outfit. Today, I am dropping off one kid at camp, playing around with the other, and helping my mom with some things she needs, so I needed something utilitarian, but DEFINITELY not boring. I hate boring. Hence why I popped a subtle turquoise accent in my oh-so-easy earrings (thanks Nickel + Suede). My bracelets are from one of the cooooolest local boutique owners, Ronnie M.
