Kent Circle@0,75x.png

My name is Daniela Kent and I teach Junior English (College and Advanced Prep) in addition to coaching teachers through our new textbook adoption and technology integration. I currently have a 21st century technology pilot classroom, which has provided me with great insight in classroom design and technology implementation.

When I am not at school, you can find me working out, raising two boys, and discovering new technology. I am also a huge digital information consumer, hoping to grow my own influence in the edtech and fashion communities.

Let’s set some trends!

GRAAGHGHAGHAGHHH!

GRAAGHGHAGHAGHHH!

Today was one of those days where you have so much to do, so little time, and more demands are placed on you at every turn. Add the excitement of the end of the year, the need to sign yearbooks, celebrate your husband's birthday, and be in a generally good mood when you're being split into 13,000 different directions.

Needless to say I barked at a few kids unnecessarily because I was hangry, frustrated, and distracted. So, to those I was short with, I am sorry, I was hungry, and if you feel pressure to achieve, multiply that by 200, please. With adult-sized responsibility, comes adult-sized stress.

So, let's focus on what went RIGHT today:

1) Saw some really good, honest, thesis statements about the American Dream for our upcoming in-class essay.

2) It's my husband's birthday and I can't wait to make him a delicious dinner/dessert to thank him for all the delicious things he makes us, I am so glad he was born!

3) Caleb got to wear his new Disney Incredibles sweatshirt and he is SO excited for that movie, I want to film his excitement as it builds daily; it's the cutest thing!

4) I love the comfort of my outfit today, I knew it would be a crazy day and I am glad I wore flats and clothes I could move around in all day. Linking all those below, many are on sale, thanks LOFT!
