Mother's Day 2018

I went "dark" on Mother's Day this year partly because I wanted to turn inward and spend time with my family without distraction. I was online for a short time in the car (not driving of course) but then I wanted to just take the day to enjoy being a Mother. Half the time, we scurry around and do the most expedient thing to finish off the week with some semblance of sanity, but I didn't want that yesterday, so I skipped a post and barely commented. 

I can do that. 

Part of being a Mom is knowing what is right for you and your family, and that is the call I made for myself yesterday. Too often I get caught up in making sure I've commented, participated, and engaged with the audience and the most important audience is the two little boys that were before me all yesterday. Those two, along with my sister, mom, and grandma, with whom I rarely get to spend quality time. 

Today, I am back, and I will post my outfit that was a last minute change to suit the rainy weather we didn't expect, pushing my cute jumpsuit to another occasion... That's what parenting is like, making the appropriate choices to suit your family needs. Feel free to make them often. ;)

P.S. I am posting my workout outfit because on Mother's Day, I got to fit in two workouts, yessssss! It makes up for the pounds of quiche I ate...
