Sunburst Stripes

It's Monday. 

The Monday after Superbowl, so everyone is feeling a little bloated from all the treats we enjoyed yesterday. Whether watching the game or not, Sundays are meant for relaxing and that usually means eating something yummy with family and friends. Yesterday was no exception to that, so I dressed to hide my over-enjoyment of chips and 7-layer dip with a little proportion trick called the front tuck. The front shirt tuck creates an illusion of a better waistline, especially with a drapey shirt like this fave from LOFT. These pants are from Anthropologie last year (here are the most recent versions of them in other colors), but they're made of some magical, soft, stretchy fabric; there must be tencel... Slap on a vibrant necklace and coast through a busy day like I did. I started with some tried-and-true J. Crew nude leather sandals, but by the end of my day, I threw on my new favorite Universal Thread sandals from Target.
